From Adagio Custom Blends, Christa Y

When black ceylon tea melds together with an explosion of blood orange and a touch of exotic spice, steampunks everywhere come together and toss their mechanized top hats into the zeppelin-filled sky.

If Jules Verne were to cry, ‘To the Zepplinmobile!’ and steampunk enthusiasts were to heed his call, this is the tea they would drink whilst surrounded by clockwork butlers, steam-powered computation units, and enough bustles, spats, and goggles to choke a historical costumer.

Created by: Christa Y

Ingredients: ceylon sonata, black tea, orange, rose hips, hibiscus, natural spice flavor, natural orange flavor, cinnamon, ginger, cloves & cardamom, hibiscus, safflower

Steeping Instructions: Steep at 212° for 4 minutes.

1st Steep of the Day
Great Job Member ambientqueenie Created and Recommended.
This Adagio Tea Arrived Today In Time to Make a Pot for Lunch.
Great Tea, Dry Tea Looks Full Of Blood Orange Rind,
The Dry Smell Is Profoundly Citrus with a Hint of “Cocoa”
Not Aware of all the Oriental Spices Here but 1 smells of “Cocoa”
After a 2 Min. Steep in Boiling Water Which releases even Greater Aroma
The Liquor Is Golden Brown, I Added 3 Teaspoons of Honey to the Pot.
Yet the Unsweetened Liquor is Boldly Citric and Smoothly Ceylonese.
But I Enjoyed and Recommended the Honey Sweetened.
Again Great Job from ambientqueenie

Splendid! I wouldn’t drink Zeppelinmobile without sweetener, either, and honey sounds delicious. I’m a bit of a sweetener addict when it comes to flavored black teas, unfortunately; I can’t get off the sweet sauce! I can’t do it! :p

One question remains: did you drink this while wearing goggles? Inquiring steampunk minds must want to know.

Intense pride alert: I created this zany-named blend, and to me, it is perfection. Who doesn’t love a steampunk-inspired tea, after all? Orange spice at its finest, this ceylon blend is rich with tart orange flavor and the perfect amount of spice. Neither too fruity nor too spicy, Zeppelinmobile is juuuuust right. Represent, Goldilocks. A little sweetener + a wee dram of cream = putting on your goggles and soaring away in a teamobile.

Today this tea is helping me combat a cold with its warm, liquidy embrace, and so its heroism deserves a little haiku:

O, Zeppelinmobile:
velvet spices in my cup!
Steampunks heart airships.

Putting My Goggles On and Looking for Some ZepMobile.

Goggles may improve it. Unfortunately, I have no begoggled verification. :P
