Tea Description: This tea was created for a tea friend that I’ve known for quite a few years now – in fact, she used to buy tea from me way back when I operated my first tea business, LiberTEAS. I was so touched and honored when she supported our Kickstarter campaign (Thank you, Megan!)
Her first tea request was one that I could not fulfill – so she came up with this flavor combination. She wanted a black tea flavored with vanilla, honey and scented with lavender. I wanted to start with a base that would have a natural honeyed tone to it – so I found this fantastic Formosa honey black tea. It’s sweet and smooth. To that, I added some organic vanilla beans and English lavender buds and some natural flavors to bring out the flavors she wanted highlighted.
The result is a really lovely blend that’s beautifully honeyed, lightly kissed with lavender with a sweet, creamy vanilla undertone. I hope she enjoys it!
