561 Tasting Notes
Winding down for bed now so decided to try this sample pack I got recently. My last one from Tickled Tea. I must say, I saved the best for last as this is one delicious cup of tea! This is by far the best tea I have tried from Tickled Tea. I usually detest lavender in tea but in this tea, it is subtle and complements the chamomile, peppermint and the lemon flavors. Who knew all those ingredients together would create something so magical. My taste buds definitely approve!
I had high hopes for this tea-especially after smelling the tea (it smelled like root beer!). The smell was the only good thing about this tea. Tried it iced and it was pretty gross so I figured maybe if it had a bit of sweetener that would help. I added some agave and I am afraid that made it worse. So I had no choice but to dump it since it was undrinkable.
This brewed a pretty pink color-thanks to the beet root. I double the amount suggested on the pack (especially since I find that teas with no actual tea in them are a tad on the weak side and Tickled Teas have been tasting weak to start off with even with tea in them). It tastes pretty good-I definitely detect apple, nuts and cinnamon mostly.
This is a slightly better mint tea than Chocolate Merry Mint. However, it has the same problem of a light minty taste-I want MORE mint-why you gotta tease me like this?! Maybe I will try adding more peppermint tea to it next time. This one has got potential. Smells wonderful though.
This was pretty good as a latte. Got a faint banana flavor mingled with a slightly stronger chocolate and rooibos taste. It cut down the sweetness of the rich chocolate I had with it so that’s a plus. I think this tea would have been awesome if the banana and chocolate flavors were more intense than they were in this cup.
