561 Tasting Notes
I am definitely getting a light blueberry flavor but there is something I don’t like in this tea and I am thinking it’s the beet. I didn’t like Just beet it by Davidstea either and that was my first time trying beet in tea. So I am going to blame it on the beets.
Not liking this one. When I first tried it, it was my fault for not making it properly (didn’t add enough water for the sample pack I got). So I added more and it was better but there is still something off about this one-maybe it’s the elderberries that I do not like? I like everything else in this blend so it must be.
This is pretty good as a latte. It does taste a bit caramel like to me with a rooibos base. There’s an extra interesting flavoring in this that I am guessing is the calendula petals but it’s hard to say because these are the ingredients (rooibos tea, calendula petals and natural flavor). It’s a decent cuppa tea, but glad this one was a sample to try.
Got this as a tea swap sample. I do not feel comfortable ordering through people to get my products-I would rather order direct from the company on the website as I have heard too many stories of reps just taking the money and not giving the product to the purchaser. So the only way I try Steeped Teas is through samples sent in the mail from others as tea swaps. This tea tastes alright-it kind of reminds me of The Skinny from Davidstea. I can definitely taste the ginger and the lemon in this blend so it lives up to its name. I only brewed it 30 seconds in water temperature set for green tea on my kettle.
I tried this as a hot sample in store and really like it so I redeemed my two free teas on my account for this tea (one iced and one hot). This tea smells so delicious! On the drive back home, all I could smell was sweet fruity aroma. In hot form, I found it slightly tart and really fruity. It was equally delicious iced as well.
