7 Tasting Notes
I really love this stuff. But I stopped bringing it to work. At work, all we have is a hot water dispenser that is set to who knows what. Every time I make this at work (even when I try to add cold water), it comes out bad, but when I make it at home where I am able to set my Zoujiroshi water dispenser thingamabob to 195 degrees, it always comes out good.
Preparation
Meh. I drank this after having finished a whole leaf variety of green tea I had at my desk. In comparison, this one is kind of crappy. HOWEVER, it’s not so bad. If you want green tea and you only have this, then drink it. I just wouldn’t recommend it if you have other options.
Preparation
I was really hoping this one would be good. I got this one and another one in a yellow box from the same brand while I was in Hong Kong. The leaves smell like raisins for some reason. When you steep it, it smells like wood. Or something. The taste is okay, but that smell is so overpowering that I just can’t drink it. My quest for good oolong continues…
Preparation
Try as I may, I never seem to be able to taste that citrus-y flavor I was promised. Also, to me at least, the bergamot makes this tea smell like soap or cleaning product. That being said, the tea itself tastes okay and it doesn’t smell as soapy as it cools. I probably won’t buy this again, though. No offense to people who like Earl Grey.
