355 Tasting Notes
This tea will never not be delicious.
Where do you get your Stash Tea? Every store in my area carries only 2 or 3 flavors and never the ones I want :(
As a student of language I feel it is my duty to mention that there is a word which simplifies the phrase "never not" and that word is "always". If your phrasing is intentional and rhetorical, and this comment is seen as annoying/pedantic please disregard and have a nice day! :)
Another one from the “drink it up” pile. I didn’t go to bed til almost 2am and was up at 7, so I wanted something strong. I wish I had looked at the description of this before I picked it up. It’s a light Darjeeling, erring more on the floral and fruity side. Not what I’m in the mood for. This cup is more bitter than I expected it would be, and I’m not a Darjeeling fan anyway.
1 bag left in my first box, and a full second box. Still think that will not be nearly enough to last me until next Christmas. My grocery store, which had a full display a few weeks ago, is down to a few Sugar Plum Spices and Nutcracker Sweets, aka the teas no one likes in the holiday collection. And they weren’t even on deep discount yet! Blergh.
Left the bag in the entire time I’ve been drinking, and it never gets bitter, just sweeter and sweeter. And with more matcha taste!
The only thing w/ mangosteen I’ve seen is that ubber expensive scam “health” drink. Now this is something I’d actually drink. Although loose leaf would be even better.
Definitely try it, ladies! I think it was $3 for 30 bags at my grocery store. Stash also sells a loose leaf version online-only, which I think I’m gonna have to order based on my love of this.
This is a little too tart to have a true raspberry flavor; I was hoping for something a bit thicker and more jammy, something with the sweetness of a real red raspberry. It’s not a fake raspberry taste, but it’s not great, either. I’d like to try combining this with Adagio’s Cream and see what happens.
If that doesn’t work, this is going in the “to swap” pile.
By the way, Cofftea, I have a running list going of whole or near-whole 1 oz Adagio samples I’d like to swap – I’ll type up and send tonight!
Bethany, I’d love to do a swap but since I have 1400 points banked, I really need to stop obtaining Adagio teas.:)
I was just thinking this morning how I’ve yet to find an Adagio tea that I like, but the only ones I’ve tried are flavoured blacks. Maybe I should try some greens or whites.
The only flavored black I really love is Valentines; the rest are really hit or miss. If you like straight black tea, their Yunnan Noir and Fujian Black Pearls are both great. For whites, I love their Silver Needle.
Have you tried understeeping it!?
