I guess it’s kinda odd to review a tea I made, but I’m going to anyway. :) It’s a blend of three green teas and tastes very fresh and clean with a hint of Froot Loops. To get a perfect cup, I brew two teaspoons per cup at 180 degrees. This tea was featured and reviewed on Adagio TeaV on March 23rd, ’09.

Soft, fragrant and floral; very light and sweet. This is quickly becoming a favorite for relaxing in the evening!

Every once in a while, I buy a box of Sleepytime purely because of some insomnia induced impulse. Then I’ll brew a cup that evening only to remember that spearmint is my least favorite of the mints. So Sleepytime ends up being one of my tea cabinet staples, purely because it’ll take me years to finish off a box and I just can’t bring myself to toss out tea. I brewed a really weak cup tonight, mostly for the warmth.

drank Blueberry by Adagio Teas

I threw a sample of this on my last order simply because, c’mon, blueberry tea? I’m floored by how delicious it’s turned out to be, and I don’t know what sort of blend it is—flavor oil, actual blueberry bits, etc.—but it is amazingly fragrant as well.

Usually, I love anything cherry. But this… it was just not what I was hoping for. The cherry taste seemed way too strong and artificial. I was reminded of cherry cold medicine and never finished my sample tin.

Love it! The flavor is amazing. Very vivid and sweet. It’s almost perfect without sweeteners, and the little dried berry bits are pretty tasty by themselves. It has absolutely no bitterness and a hint of apple flavor. It’s like brewing tea out of trail mix!

Another favorite of mine from Adagio. It’s great hot, and has a sweet taste and scent. Almost floral, but in a good way. Whenever I place an order at the site, I always get a sample tin to keep around.

drank Earl Grey by Bigelow

This is my all-time favorite tea. I started drinking this back in middle school after watching Captain Jean-Luc Picard order it aboard the Enterprise on Star Trek: The Next Generation. I generally fix this using my Sunbeam Tea Drop tea maker, which brews up to 28oz of tea.

Bigelow Tea

Mike, great to hear how much you enjoy our Earl Grey….thanks for being so loyal to Bigelow! Have you ever tried Earl Grey Green?

A great spice tea. It tastes similar to apple cider, but with a powerful addition of cinnamon.

Steep for 2 minutes & serve over ice & honey. My new favorite drink to make at the TG. It’s calming, decaf, & has an extremely smooth taste.

Too Bitter. Nothing about it is even tea-like…maybe it’s drastically different iced…I hope so…NOT good warm/hot.

Nice twist on Green Tea. Not over powering – Green – and the lemon isn’t too lemony either. Nice Mix. No scent, tho. Pretty good for an inexpensive, bagged tea.

Light green tea that can be steeped several times. Usually put this with my cup infuser teas. I like it when I just want to drink something.

I was surprised at how good it is. It doesn’t just taste like a lemon tea…it almost reminds me of a lemon cake. I definitely need to buy this.

The smell is mildly floral and has a full bodied taste. A smooth buttery mouth feel. I tend to prefer winter harvest for Taiwanese tea and this one doesn’t disappoint..
