Over steeped time and portion-wise just for kicks. The more/longer you steep the more the smokey flavors comes thru…worth a shot, I guess. But I missed the Grapefruit blend I got from the first attempt…so with this…I think I will follow the instructions to a tee…or should I say TEA? Still a nice strong tea.

My last cup from the 25g I picked up a few weeks ago. It hasn’t been noteworthy, but sometimes that’s a good thing.

No nasty sharp taste if steeped too long.

It’s standard, but it’s what they have at work and it’s one of the better of the mainstream black teas in my opinion. Not great with the UHT milk they also have at work…

Prior to steeping it was a slight minty grass type smell. While steeping kind of smells like socks. Ewwww! The coloring is more toward that of a Black Tea. The taste isn’t bad. Not intense but not too bland either. This was a tad above neutral so I’ll give it a thumbs up, I guess.

Slightly lighter and sweeter than the Grand Pouchong I had yesterday. But then I let the water cool slightly from boiling and that may have softened the flavour. Enjoying a pot of this :-)

Had to have another cup. Ok on 2nd Steep. Doable.

Drinking this with my lunch today. Found it best to follow the directions: Let the water cool for a minute from a boil and steep for 2 minutes.

Love this – one of my favorite teas.

I’ve been drinking this in the morning for a week – it was tough getting started, but now I look forward to it.

The scent is really lovely and I enjoyed the taste – not overpowering, but much more delicate than I thought it would be.

I was looking for something to sip on during and after my lunch (I had a vegan Dr. McDougall’s Soup Bowl – The Curry Lentil kind) and this worked well!!!

I was hesitant on this tea because of the pineapple, but it’s delicious.
