New Tasting Notes

Tasty. Fragrant and floral without tasting or smelling of perfume.

This is one of my favorite teas. I drink it on the regular. Its super tasty, not too bitter or leafy. I prefer it with a little soy milk and honey. super awesome / good price from Trader Joe’s. mmmm

An amazing tea, one of my all time favorites. Smooth and honey-lemony. But not too lemony. Easy to drink at least 4 cups before you realize your all shaky from the caffeine/ginseng buzz. Meijer also has a great store brand version of this tea.

Sencha Yuzu to end the day. I’m such a sucker for lemony flavors.

Decent Tung-Ting-style oolong, but not especially notable compared to Upton’s standard Jade Oolong (TT86) at ~30% less pricey. I didn’t really get the “creamy” notes.

I am not a tea bag girl.

Yummy and fragrant beyond all recent chamomiles, this Adagio from Egypt lives up to its “finest sort” billing.

Just like my tea I prefer my Chai plain. Switched to DeCaf for the night, thought this would be a good start for the evening…

Just got this tea yesterday and have to say I quite like it! Has an ever so soft milk fragrance and taste to it. Sweet and floral but not overly sweet. Gonna re-steep it a couple of times tonight.

A very soothing green tea. Be careful with the temperature or it will go bitter on you.

My colleague loves this tea, and I’m still impressed with it. Must explore the other teas Birt and Tang sell

Yes, I had this at work today as well. 2 cups, no milk, kept my energy levels up

Not a very exciting day of tea today. This is not brilliant, but the best I could come up with. I am still hoping to find a black tea that doesn’t need milk and comes in tea bags, because it makes it easier to take into work. Posh teabags are expensive butat some point I will have to try them

Over steeped a bit on the second steep and it was perfect…

Very nice, sweet, non-astringent white.

6g (~4T)/pot. 170°, 2.5 mins. Deliciously smooth, sweet take on Jasmine.

Perfect after my lunch

It reminds me of Juicy Fruit gum, but in spite of that (because of that?) I so love this tea.

I went through a big jasmine kick a few weeks ago and was drinking this stuff like crazy. It’s still delicious. Not too strong, not too light. Calming and reminds me of spring.

This is one of my new favorites, many layers of flavor to it- earthy black, smokey vanilla notes floating on top, with a nice floral finish from the rose.

I stuck a bag of this and a bag of H&G’s green tea in a cup together, and it was fairly tasty. Not quite a Moroccan mint, but flavourful.
