Day #8 of tea! This is my first time drinking a plain maté – usually my maté go-to blend is Chocolate Rocket or Main Squeeze. So the lack of an actual flavour in this one is kind of weird on that level, but at the same time, there really is nothing like drinking it as it was originally meant to be. Definitely a grassy taste, but it’s one I don’t mind (at least this morning, as I really need the caffeine jolt, haha). And this is organic, which I also appreciate. This is going to be on my radar for maté now, for sure.

My Tea Rating Scale (just to have a little bit of consistency):
Under 50: Ugh. Terrible.
50-60: Disappointing – I don’t think I’ll be getting any more of this.
61-75: Decent – I’ll finish what I have, and I may consider buying again.
76-89: Very enjoyable – I would definitely consider getting more.
90-100: I LOVE IT – I will do what I can to keep a permanent stash on my shelf.
