A lovely place for a small group to sit and enjoy tea. Our group enjoyed sitting in the parlour around the fireplace, talking about our holiday plans, sipping our teas, and just soaking in the cozy pre-holiday hospitality. There is a mind-boggling array of teas (black, greens, rooibos, mate, herbals) that you can sniff before buying. “Passion for Living,” a strawberry green blend, is popular there and in the neighboring restaurant (owned by the same family). I wish I lived closer, I’d be there more often. Gold Hill is a neat town full of 19th C. buildings and NC gold rush history, and Indigo really adds to the atmosphere.
