Despite the run down outward appearance, the inside was extremely clean, very modern and trendy, with low black leather couches and tables, booths and regular tables, LCD TV’s, a wet bar (Very trendy place!). The waitress was very friendly- although I don’t think she spoke English, which would explain why she was a bit shy.
We received two menus, one with 100 varieties of tea (mighty leaf bagged teas, and good quality loose leaf teas) and one menu of crepes (with all sorts of toppings and fillings from whipped cream cheese and fruit to meats and veggies).
My friend got glass brewed longjing and I got the da hong pao. I ordered a small crepe and to my surprise when they brought it out, there were two small “crepes” no bigger than your thumb!… I was a little disappointed… until she brought out my actual crepes, these were just some pastries to hold us over until the food got there whew… the crepes were awesome, the tea was awesome, the (inside) of the building was awesome!
I couldn’t be more happy to have found this little hidden gem, I will def. be returning with my friends.
