This tea received the honour of being the first member of the DavidsTea spring collection to be brewed in my Breville.

Of all the ridiculously intriguing scents going on in my trial baggies of the spring teas, this one does stand out. I brewed this up for 6 minutes as I was worried about it being weak, but it came out a little tart so it will be maybe 4 or 5 minutes next time. Even the tartness wasn’t bad, though. It works with the kick-in-the-pants-refreshing nature of this tea. This was deliciously bold and fruity and tasted like summer. It’s begging to be made into iced tea and/or popsicles, but was also nice hot.

My only qualm with this tisane is that as with most of the herbals you need to use a fair amount of it. It being a heavy tea, it’s on the expensive side. Definitely worth it as a treat to remind myself that warmer weather will eventually arrive!

I will also confess to chewing on a couple pieces of the dried fruit. Tasty!

lol!
I agree the scents of the spring collection are particularly intriguing, many smell like bags of candies… or something alike.

I’m making Dreamsicle now. I spent way too long sniffing the teas trying to figure out which to make next. I eventually had to look away and grab a bag at random!

That’s the first one I tried, earlier today! It’s yummy, but be careful not to oversteep it as it can get bitter at some point
