14 Tasting Notes
I’m a huge fan of white tea, and love fruity teas. For some reason, this tea didn’t do it for me. It was always bitter, the taste of the nectarine was more of an apricot or an unsweetened peachy/nectarine. I had a whole tin which was unfortunate, but I won’t be repurchasing this tea. It wasn’t a very good iced tea either.
Preparation
I was really hoping to love this one, it smells great and tastes very good. But after one cup, I couldn’t drink it ever again. Makes me nauseous just thinking about it. It’s the same feeling I get from Forever Nuts by DavidsTea… that cloyingly sweet taste.
Preparation
I am very surprised by this tea! Most chocolate teas aren’t creamy enough or don’t taste chocolate-y enough for me. This one is excellent, I love blueberries but you don’t really taste them in this blend.
It’s excellent with milk. Excellent as an iced latte. When I want to skip the calories, I’ll definitely pick this one out in my cupboard. In my opinion, it’s the closest a tea has come to tasting like hot chocolate.
Preparation
I LOVE IT. This smells like coconut, strawberry and pineapple. It tastes exactly how it smells. It’s perfect hot and iced. I’ll be stocking up David… I’ve already got 210g and I think I’m going to get a 250g bag! Unheard of for me! It’s like having Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait.. But better and more tropical.. without dairy!
Preparation
This tea is divine! The initial smell is cherry, coconut. It’s smells tropical and sweet. The taste is EXACTLY what it smells like. I’ve tried it hot, and got it iced while at the store. Great tea, I will definitely need to stock up. I don’t think having 170g is enough for me now!
The summer collection this year at DavidsTea is just pure heaven. Every single one of them is AMAZING!
Preparation
I LOVE THIS TEA.
To me, it smells like going to the spa. It reminds me of eucalyptus saunas and zen mint eucalyptus warm tea while going into the temperature baths. It’s completely relaxing, soothes, clears your passages and just feels like it’s detoxing you from inside out.
Some people may find this strongly medicinal, whereas, I find it to be super natural and soothing. I absolutely love this tea, will always keep 1 or 2 tins in my cupboard.
Preparation
This is so fruity, I love it! It reminds me of a fruit roll-up. It’s absolutely great iced, and warm. Because it’s herbal, I can drink this whenever. It’s fool-proof (temp, steep time). I much prefer this to pink lemonade or pink flamingo. Definitely a re-purchase when I get through more tea in my stash.
Preparation
I absolutely expected to hate this tea. It smells really strongly of ginger with slight pepper/spicy/woodsy notes. I don’t love this if I steep it longer than a minute or two. It isn’t the most tasty tea if you don’t enjoy the taste of ginger on it’s own, but if you’re making an effort to try more ginger it’ alright. Just alright. There are better tea’s with ginger in it. This one for me can’t be over steeped or else it becomes much too strong.
Preparation
Super yummy, it’s definitely a rooibos. If Rooibos teas bother you, I’d say this one woudn’t be an exception.
I mostly taste caramel and maple in this tea, slightly creamy. Doesn’t burn easily nor does it oversteep easily. Great dessert tea, makes your whole room smell of maple.
