464 Tasting Notes
I’m staying at a friend’s house ths week and I knew she’d be up for trying anything bacon-flavored so I brought this along. We brewed some up this morning to drink with our eggs.
This tea tastes like chemically-laced chocolate and ham. We couldn’t drink more than a few sips. I know it was a novelty tea, but the chemicalness of the chocolate was just gross. Yuck!
My friend will not drink “ham water” again. Lol!
looks like Della Terra just put up a chocolate bacon tea for the Autumn selection. I’ve never heard of chocolate covered bacon, but then I don’t like bacon, so I wouldn’t know about these things :p
It might be worth it for me to toss some bacon bits into the maple tea i love so much, just to see if I could maybe get something drinkable…
“Another Traveling Tea Box?!?!”
This was marked “Happy Tea” and was in a Teavana bag, but there was no ingredient list and I can’t find it anywhere. It looks like a guayasa with berries and that’s what it tastes like Yummy, but not something I’d have all the time.

Am I crazy to have something with Valerian root this early in the day? Probably. This is a really nice blend though. Pretty light for a chai, but I love that it’s heavy on the cinnamon and cloves. The vanilla in this is also nice!

Well I don’t think it tastes anything like cheesecake, but it is kind of yummy. I don’t have much experience with honeybush. This is sweet and lightly coconut. There is a kind of creamcheese scent that I’m not digging. It does make me curious to try more honeybush.

Ooh! I love floral teas that don’t taste like potpourri! This one is very nice! I can definitely taste the rose and jasmine. It’s lightly sweet too.
Yay floral teas! That’s one of the only kinds of flavored teas I can stand. I feel like I need to start accumulating some for when I feel like a happy afternoon tea…

I like the depth added to the mint by the green tea. Nothing very special though. I like the mint from my backyard better. Nothing beats fresh mint!
