Steepster iPhone App Beta Testers
Once we have enough people who have signed up and added their device, we’ll release the latest version of the app through TestFlight and you should get an email notice from them that the app is available to download.
We just pushed out a build for the people who have signed up on TestFlight and added their device. There are still spots open for testing though, so if you’re interested follow the instructions at the top of the discussion to get in on the beta.
i have to say…i’m impressed. :) I’m used to people saying “beta” and really meaning here’s “alpha” to play with.
Sil… I had the same question. There was an email after you downloaded the app requesting feedback send to feedback[at]steepster.com
I’d love to test, but I haven’t updated to iOS7 yet, and probably won’t for a while yet. Will it be backward compatible at some point, to include iOS6 and earlier?
Boooo!!! I’m avoiding iOS7 like the plague. It’s so ugly that I refuse to download it. Why Apple decided to redesign their product to look more like Windows I’ll never understand.
It’s also a cost concern. Having to manage different versions of app across different platforms and operating system versions increases the complexity and cost of maintenace.
Fair enough, though iOS6 is hardly obsolete. I think it should be included. But I’m not the one paying for it or maintaining it. I would, however, gladly pay a small amount for the app if it was compatible with iOS6.
Signed up! This would be awesome—I’ve never been able to log in to Steepster from my phone, it’s always been so glitchy.
I change my mind :/ it wanted to make changes to my phone…. Uhhh… Not 100% sure what those changes are so I am skipping out.
