Anyone else missing Harney rewards?
I had been gathering points over the last year or so, even from under the former system. I purchased items with the points for my daughter’s Christmas, and when attempting to purchase another item days later, I discovered I no longer had nearly $10.00 in rewards, but absolute 0 points. I used the new system to reach out to customer service and discovered from the reply: “Our points system is going through some updates and as of right now has no way to return your points difference back to your account. I have returned your missing 55 points!”
Anyone else having this issue? Under the new system, 55 points doesn’t equal anything near $10.00 but rather $2.75? 1 point per $.05. I’m hoping it’s resolved soon, but it doesn’t sound as though it will be soon.
With the dramatic increased prices, and less sales (have to purchase a certain amount to even receive 20% or 25% off), I may not be able to purchase tea from them in the future. I just don’t that warm cozy family feeling from the company, anymore.
Harney & Sons continued its Rewards program up until May. When I ordered a tin of Sweet Black Gulou yesterday (06/04/24), I could not access my points. The checkout page noted that I had store credit instead. They are ging to continue their free shipping policy for now but the downside (for me) is that they have switched from USPS to FedEx for all deliveries. I wonder if they are still going to give free samples with each order and how long it will be until they abandon free shipping.
