And by “they” you mean you? It comes off as disingenuous when you post as tho you aren’t affiliated with your company and have friends chime in like they are random users who are excited about your tea. Just be straight forward, people appreciate that.
Agreed, Dustin. I would have certainly considered ordering if you had been upfront and honest. But this type of behavior always makes me wary of companies.
Dear Dustin & Cookies, I apologize that confused you by using wrong expression to describe current promotion. It is just lack of my English.
I do not care, affiliation, no affiliation. It is great tea gift! Sherapop right, it looks really intriguing.
I noticed you were rating your own teas which is frowned on here too. I don’t think anyone minds you making tasting notes about your tea (many companies do), but when you add ratings, it doesn’t really give an unbiased opinions since you have something to gain by higher ratings… just in case you want to make friends here. :)
It does look intriguing, I’ll give Sherapop and Tea&tea that, but for me it suddenly looks a lot less intriguing when his friend Nastyawi immediately chimes in with thinly veiled props from an account that didn’t have any activity until after that post was made.
Oddly, tea&tea is also a brand new account here with all one-line reviews posted consecutively at about the same time as his/her comment supporting this ….
Max, Dustin’s point about companies refraining from rating their own teas not only keeps steepster ratings more accurate for our community, it also maintains fairness among tea producing companies. It’s an honor and respect thing.
