I love the designs on these. I just wish they had handles. Then again, I’d probly own nearly all of them then. So maybe its better this way. Lol! XD
I prefer handles but these are very nice mugs. Double walled so they don’t get really hot. I have the snowflake and LOVE it (the poppy too). :)
Didn’t know they’re double walled. Nice to know and even more tempting. Especially since I’m giving their advent calendar the curious eye. I’ll have to look into reviews about their teas.
If you are considering their advent calendar, you might want to check out Groupon. It is $29 there, and $44 on Tea Forte:

There’s also a groupon deal that has the snowflake Kati cup and a variety pack

I was about to post about Golden Moon too… They are not restocking everything but three of their teas, so if anyone has any favorites from Golden Moon there you go.
I just found Talbot’s Green Tea Indulgence at Ross for $2.99, normally around $6. It was unfortunately the only flavor they had.
http://www.iherb.com or ca.iherb.com is offering upto 20% off it’s teas as a weekly deal. They offer a selection from a number of brands including Harney’s and Tao of tea etc.
This is an amazing deal for Tao of Tea products.
I also found a coupon (code WOW999) for first-time customers. $10 off orders of $40 or more, $5 off orders < $40. The $40 threshold seems to be after the 20% discount is applied.
ETA – Somehow another “VIP” discount got added to my order as well through none of my doing. All said and done got what would have cost $58 on Tao’s website for a grand total of $26. Not bad!
I was wondering if they had the teas you were looking for. It’m glad you were able to use it.
Yes, they had a bunch I had been wanting, thanks for alerting us to the sale!
Marzipan – I love Tao’s Tippy South Cloud and the Grand Qimen is lovely as well. I also picked up a few I haven’t tried before because I’ve been really impressed with everything I’ve had from Tao. That site also has a good deal of Harney teas, mostly bagged.
Just to clarify Cookies, is that coupon code for use at iherb.com or at Tao of Tea? Thanks.
Did anyone else notice the Prop 65 warning upon preparing to check out? It popped up after I entered my zip code, and appears to have applied to all the products in my cart.
No, but that warning is pretty much meaningless. It’s incredibly broad and companies use it to cover their butts. It’s not something I, personally, would worry about.
Are you in California? I think it is a California prop, but it is usually in relation to jewelry and other items like crystal glass. Strange that it pops up for something like tea.
I’m in Canada and haven’t ever had that warning come up. I’ve purchased a few things, as well, including tea, tea ware, and bath products.
Oh, did you buy any ceramic tea ware? Some of those glazes could possibly have lead in them which is what the prop is about.
Everything in my cart was tea, and the warning appeared on each individual item, so… not really sure what to think. The Prop 65 warning is specific to California, so that’s likely why it only appeared after I entered my zip code for a shipping estimate.
It seems that a lot of the herbal supplement companies in California are using a blanket statement to protect themselves from lawsuits. Products such as coffee are required to have it, and due to the strict regulations tea companies may also do it to protect themselves because of elements naturally found in tea or often found as contaminants in tea. http://www.iherb.com/info/prop65

Being that iherb is not packaging these teas themselves, I’d just go off of how you’d feel ordering from the companies directly.
English Tea store is having a free shipping offer for orders over 20$, and on certain items (not many at all, sadly), if you buy one you get 50% off if you buy it again.

20% off entire order at Harney, 22nd and 23rd. Code TRAVEL14
Yeah does seem that way…hope that isn’t a bad sign that they aren’t doing well! D: Don’t know what I’d do without my Harney teas. D:
I know, I can’t think of why they might be having them so often. Maybe trying to clear stock before the new year?
Hahaha sherapop. Actually I appreciate when company announcing in advance. It helps with planning. I did narrow my purchases to 3 places couple months ago if the sale is right. And I give 1 unexpected purchase . Lets see how it will work !
Do you think it means they won’t go any higher than 20% on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
One thing I noticed with H&S site. The site crashes when they have a good sale. It’s annoying and you cannot place an order over the phone because the promo doesn’t work over the phone. I hope they fixed that bug cause its so annoying. I remember a better deal just before BF. I have to look it up ;)
