Which new features do you want the most?
One thing that I would like to see is a sorted search function. If you search for a particular type of tea or perhaps “decaf” the results come in at random. Sorting by score (as happens when you look for a particular tea brand) would be helpful.
Maybe someone already made the same remark, but I’d like the reply and taste-note-box to be larger. Due to its size I often loose track and make lots of misstakes in spelling or by repeating words, so that I have to edit once or more even a few times…
Other than that I really lover this site!
You can adjust it, in the bottom right corner of the typing window. Even in this reply box I am typing in right now. Indicated by the six little dots formed into a triangle. Hover over it and your cursor should turn into a a little pull tab :)

A way to index/tag your own tasting notes, for further updates (without making an entirely new one)
I find for myself, and I don’t know if anyone else would agree, that I would prefer the discussion pages to be in reverse order. Ie. The last page showing first. I don’t think the responses need to be in reverse order. But when I go to a thread that has, for example 39 pages, I would like to see the most recent first. Especially on threads like for swaps. I don’t really need to read about the swaps from 3 years ago.
If you click on the time stamp it takes you to the most recent post, which 95% of the time is the last page!
I’m using Firefox and it comes up just fine. There’s the thread name, the number of posts, then a timestamp of the most recent reply!

I wish there was a Steepster app!! I’d love to be able to log teas and write reviews easily from my iPhone or iPad!!
I think I will be really convenient if you guys add some new fields in the page where people adding a new teas – year and original name (in Chinese for example). It will be really good, because some teas, like pu-erhs, have the same recipes and tea factories release it every year… so you will have “2008 V93” and “V93 2010” and “blabla V93 2011 blabla” names at site. New rules will unify the names and makes it more easy to find some tea.
P.S.: Sorry if a did some mistakes, my English is not good enough ;)
I am not sure if there is a ‘chat room’ on this site?? It would be cool to have one and chat about your tea while you drink it. If there already is a chat room I cannot find it and need help.
