Which new features do you want the most?
An optional list only of tea’s in your cupboard so that you can print it.
Vendor Kudos/ratings, somewhere to leave feedback like we can for tea shops on shopping experience.
It would be cool if we could attach an image to our tasting notes if we happened to snap a shot of the tea we are enjoying.
I agree since I find myself doing this quite often. I think it’d be cool to see others teaware and where they like to drink tea most often also.
Mobile app.
Just one thing (trying not to offend anyone/vendors) is trying to limit vendors posting their “deals” or offerings in the discussion messages – like when someone asks about a certain tea or best place to get X tea and a bunch of vendors jump on the post. Not really a feature but I think it would make the site more useful.
This might have been mentioned before, but it would be nice if the tea pages could include an “owned by” or “in these steepsters’ cupboards” function, so you could see who has a tea/how many people. It’d be a nice way to see the most-owned teas, as well as looking for swap partners for teas that aren’t super popular.
I think Steepster would benefit greatly from creating some kind of social share button for websites. Or even perhaps a wordpress plugin!
I’m sure this has been mentioned before, but being able to search in others cupboards and through their ratings (unless this is already a feature?). Sometimes people mention teas that they’ve reviewed before and I want to go find them but it can be a bit tedious when they have hundreds of tastings/reviews.
A marker for teas that we are willing to swap in our cupboard would be cool.
Perhaps an option to see the numbers as we rate. I realize this may be intentional but I like to round to 5’s or 10’s purely for aesthetic reasons.
Not sure if it’s been said yet… but it would be nice if there was a way to have personal tasting notes linked to social media. For example, once you add a tasting note on Steepster it would automatically add a link to your facebook or tumblr – so that people could click and read your review on Steepster. Is also a great way to advertise your site and tea in general!
