Most Interesting Tea you've ever tried
how about one you enjoyed and one you did not.
+Davids Tea Genmaicha toasted brown rice green tea
(It really tastes like your eating a japanese rice dish)
-Republic Of Tea Caramel Apple Tea
(it was funky and just overall unpleasant…)
I once drank some semi-wild tea (mao cha). It wasn’t the kind of “wild” like companies will put on packages when they actually mean non-terrace tea, but a variety of wild tea tree that was cross bred with “regular” tea trees. It was growing near some fang yang trees and a farmer decided to process it for fun.
It was more like medicine than tea. Incredibly bitter, slightly nauseating, and probably the fastest acting laxative out there.
A few teas come to mind…
A Rabbit’s Garden by Della Terra – Tea that boasts ingredients of carrot, sweetcorn kernels and peas. It was mixed with green tea, lemongrass and peach so it was more flavourful and fun than expected.
I remember trying a garlic flavour Rooibos tea but I’m not sure of the name of brand. I do recall the strangeness of it though.
Rummy Pu from Liquid Proust – Literally Pu Erh that was stored in a rum barrel. It’s one of the most marvellous and madly genius concoctions I have tried.
Black Siam Thai Blend by Siam Tea – This blend was made to resemble Thai curry and that is exactly what it tastes like. It was as though I was drinking warm curry sauce.
I’ve had 2 bacon teas from 52 teas and Teafolks.
Oh and I had a Turkey Stuffing Puer and a Lamb Vindaloo Puer.
You are a sick, twisted person. As are the ones who conceived of those abominations.
I have tried Republic Of Tea Caramel Apple Tea. I know this is the best ever tea i have drink. Hope most of the people like my favor . Now i am controlling Yoga course Dubai. I have suggested this tea for all my students. They will get an energy to work hard.

Oprah Winfree’s Herbal Chai Tea from Teavana. It literally tastes like a flat dr.peppet that’s been sitting on the dashboard too long. I’ve had hundreds of teas and yet this one always comes to mind when I think of some of the worst teas I’ve ever had.
Amen to that! A vile abomination! Tasted more like a specimen that Oprah had to give at the doctor’s office!
It’s easily the Formosa Dahongpao 1992 from Song Tea. The first steeping is incredibly sweet and complex. The second steeping and every one thereafter loses the sweetness completely and becomes a decidedly complex melange of warm and fairly heavy flavors.
There are teas I like more, but nothing’s that interesting to experience.
