Yunnan Sourcing

had both the spring 2015 and the spring 2014 versions of this thanks to terri. 2015 wasn’t my favourite year for teas in general, and this is no exception. 2014 is maltier and bolder. 2015 has a thinner mouth feel and isn’t my favourite.

i can’t even explain how busy things are right now. Only logging this because i had my last cup of this like 2 days ago…now it’s gone from my cupboard and will likely remain so until the dollar increases…in a year lol a reorder though…for sure

almost out of this one…maybe 1-2 more cups left but that’s ok because it will be back on my wishlist and ready for me to order next time! haha

one of my teas from today. This one is almost gone from my cupboard, but will be a restock in the future unless i find something that is comparable and just as tasty. Malty, smoothe, deliciousness…

first cup of the morning because i really wanted to start the day with something i knew that i love. With so many samples in my cupboard, it’s hard not to rush through them all…but since they can be hit or miss, it’s nice to have a few cups of things i like for sure.

This was a cup from earlier this morning. All i can really recall from it this morning was that is reminded me of the sweetness you get from jam…or at least that’s how it smelled haha I’m still loving this tea. I love the way it looks and tastes, so i’m glad i still have a bunch of it :)

i really like how fun this one is. It’s needles and hay and delicious! I’m really happy yo be back with my cupboard even if i’ve let it slide a little and i’m in danger of creeping back up to 100…Hopefully i’ll have some time this weekend to get through a few of my samples.

i love this tea. I love the way it looks, the way it steeps..the colour, the smell! it’s just yum. thanks so much again my tea sister for sharing this one with me! love it!

noms… still going…. i will be so glad when this day is over and i can crawl in to bed. My body is screaming for sleep at the moment …. but i still need to finish laundry, finish issues with work and eat. then..sleep…yyaaaaay sleep. Since i need help with keeping my eyes open, i pulled this one out from terri still a fan! :) It’s nice to have delicious teas in the cupboard even if they aren’t sipdowns haha

sad to see this one go. I started my morning out with this one as there are still a few things to be doing around the house as we have friends coming over for dinner and board games…and i’m still working as some things came to light from last night’s testing that i need to sort out. I love this tea and i can’t even explain why. there’s something about it that just makes me want to drink it. Plus the leaves always make me smile :)

I keep drinking this one, so I think I’m going to need to put it on my wish list to pick up someday when I get around to placing a yunnan sourcing order :)

still loving this terri. thank you for sending it my way. Had another fwe cups of this today and i was not crazy the first time i drank it. i just really like it…a lot :)

i LOVE this tea. It was so just the thing i needed today. I brewed it western style and was drinking it while working and totally hit the bottom of the mug asap because it was so darn delicious. Plus, the leaves make me happy…they’re like little golden yellow pine needles. mmm this is so wonderfully malty and cocoa-y and just exactly what i needed while i was drinking it this morning.
