Twinings

Pretty smoky and kinda bitter. I only steeped it for about 2 1/2 minutes, so I think it should have been okay. It works as a nice break during the day, but its not something I would buy. But since I have a tin of it, it will serve it’s purpose for the time being. You’ll probably like this if you’re more of a tea purist…I usually take mine with a bit more fruity flavoring.

I actually switched out my coffee for a cup of this this morning… A nice change!

Somehow oversteeped this, even though I was paying close attention! I had to add half & half (which I hate) so overall, not my best work. Not the tea’s fault, but it isn’t a fantastic blend to begin with. Ah, well!

The more I drink this, the less I like it. I’m not sure if my bags are going stale (they’re sealed, but they’re probably a year old by now) or if my tastes have changed or what, but I’m just not as into this blend as I used to be. Kind of sad!

Oversteeped this this morning, so added some half-and-half (which I never do). Not bad, actually. Not much else to say about this one!

Felt like something kind of non-descript today and this seemed good enough. Might’ve let it brew a tad too long because the blackcurrant note is slightly tart, but still not too bad.

Made an okay cuppa today—not bad. Changed my rating though—it’s not quite as good as I’d first thought.

Wasn’t feeling this today. Not sure why but it didn’t hit the spot at all. Meh.

Oversteeped again and had to add milk but not bad. I just don’t like milk in my tea, period.

I over-steeped this today but it’s still not bitter. Love it!

Huge fan of Twinings, and even huger fan of blackcurrent. WIN.

bagged, not loose. not ideal, i know, but decent for at work. squirt of honey, splash of milk. not quite as strong or spicy as i’d expected, buuut maybe that’s my fault. a nice change from my usual afternoon green tea fix…
