I have always wanted a standard mint tea made with BLACK tea (I can’t stand herbal) and this is just that. Nothing special, but decent black tea with a strong mint flavour. I found this while in Vermont, but I hope they’ll carry it here too so I can buy more when I run out!
First cuppa tea on the kayak camping weekend. Absolute bliss after paddling to campsite and setting up tents.
I uploaded a pic to steepster, not sure of the right way to do so but it’s at: https://daixslj5ml1pr.cloudfront.net/api/file/jyhH4VLoQZ2LOMhnGdib/convert?fit=max&h=480&w=940
wonderful afternoon pick-me-up with a bit of sugar and milk
Preparation
Had a big mug this am (the Copco mug I won from bite of the Best, actually) with milk and sugar. It definitely helped wake me up! My tin is almost gone (maybe 6-7 tsp left?) but I have plenty of Paris to drink when it’s gone, plus some Lavender Earl Grey (Revolution), and a ton of Tippy Earl Grey (GM) that I won recently but haven’t opened…

The perfect tea for a Jane Austen book discussion and tea party. Between the 5 of us we went through two pots of it!
I should probably put this tea on my shopping list, as I am running low and it’s great to have on hand. Then again, I have TWO tins of Paris, so maybe I should let one of those fill in the gap…
Preparation
easy breezy cuppa tea to get me through the mid-afternoon monday slump.
added 1.5 tsp sugar and a splash of half & half. May need to brew longer of add less h&h next time, as my (big) mug is a bit weak.
Preparation
This tea (loose) is my go-to cuppa when I want a black that will pick me up a bit but still be comforting. Love the floral and citrus scent and the fact that you can actually taste them (but they don’t overpower the tea). I take it with 1-2 tsp of sugar per mug, and a splash of milk (doesn’t curdle despite the citrus peel). This is a pretty forgiving tea – I put too much milk in the first cup but the flavor still came through. Oversteeping gives me caffeine jitters but the tea isn’t too bitter.
Preparation
I often drink this at work because I don’t want to transport my loose leaf utilities everyday. This is one of the better bagged teas though. If you’re in a pinch, go for this or Stash’s black teas.
Preparation
Have you tried fillable paper filters? Just put a bunch in a bag or empty tea tin/box to make them easy to carry with you. That way you can have any kind of loose leaf tea you want at work. I love them:)
