Sipdown (1008)!

Another “sipdown” where I’m really just adding the last of this to the STTB instead of finishing it off. It was a VariaTEA share, so it a round about way it’s kind of like she’s adding it to the STTB…

This was a late night mug yesterday and it was fine – smooth but flat/lacking defining characteristics/flavours. It’s honesty not unpleasant at all but it’s just something that simply doesn’t stick in my brain and for that reason I decided to pass it along.

I agree really strongly with what she wrote in her review – the flavour of this tea is really grassy and nutty in a very similar way to straight mulberry leaf. It’s not bad, though I feel like the flavour is a bit more stagnant/flat that mulberry leaf actually usually is. There’s a natural sweetness to mulberry leaf and I don’t get sweetness here.

Still, this was nice for a more herbal evening tea!

This reminds me a little bit of Mulberry Magic by DAVIDsTEA. It has the same sort of macadamia cookie flavor which has taken me by surprise, especially considering this seemingly expired in 2018. Thank you for sharing, Arby!
