Sipdown (1545)!
Every now and then, when I try new tea companies, I like to try something completely outside my comfort zone or that I would not normally order for myself – sometimes you find some real hidden gems that way or the flavours come out completely different from what you were expecting and you surprise yourself! This tropical Gunpowder green tea with hot chili pepper was my wildcard selection this time around and, well, the chili did not come to play! It’s been a minute or two since I last had a tea with this much kick to it; but that devilish spicy note with the creamy coconut and hint of pineapple at the end is pretty fun! Definitely one for the spice lovers, though!

Sipdown (1514)!
This tea is bright and fruity with a pleasantly sweet peach top note, but gets a little silkier and creamy in the mid sip with undertones of cinnamon and a light chamomile finish. I’m not a huge fan of chamomile but the name and ingredients were so intriguing that I wanted to try it anyway & I’m glad I did because this tea ended up being really well balanced but still fun and flavourful!

Sipdown (1514)!
Thank you to Topaz Tea for sending this tea, and two others, for me to try out prior to their official company launch – which happened last week on the fifteenth!
I am a total lover of practically all cranberry flavoured teas and this really is no exception. The cranberry is so bright and lively with a juicy tart note that is perfectly complimented and offset by the sweet notes of lemon and gentle tickle of hot ginger. It was such a comforting cuppa this morning as I sipped while listening to then heavy downpour of rain outside. Great on its own as well as with a small spoonful of golden honey to mellow some of tartness, if those sharp top notes aren’t quite your cup of tea.
