I had a cup of this a couple of days ago but my note didn’t exactly make it so I thought I would have another and write a fresh one. The last time I drank this the flavor wasn’t really there for me so this time I used 1.5 teaspoons of tea rather than the recommended 1 teaspoon. The tea is much stronger this way and I’m enjoying the flavor much more. I can taste the bite of the ginger after each sip. It seems to me that this has a floral aspect to it as well. I’m enjoying this cup much more.
Second Steep
8 ounces water + 195 degrees + 7 minutes
This cup is kind of bland so I think next time I’ll stop at one where it’s most enjoyable. Thanks for sharing, Nichole!

I tried to step outside my “tea” box and try a red rooibos blend. Yeah. . .still not for me. I think I passed this one along to Shae. The ginger and peach flavors were nice, but that aftertaste from the red rooibos I just couldn’t get past.
Hopefully someone will enjoy it more than me.

This is hitting the spot. I have been so busy with this mini van stuff and work lately that my tea consumptioin is suffering! This can not happen! I must go back to my obession. . .I miss it so!!!
So far I have really enjoyed the blends that I’ve tried from this adorable Etsy company. I’ve got a few more to check out but I’m impressed. This particular blend is their Honey Vanilla Chai. I am not a fan of chai for the most part but I found this one to be quite lovely. This wasn’t overly spicey and didn’t make me go nope after the first sip. All of the flavors mingled well and the honeybush brought a great natural sweetness to the tea.
