I stopped by a local tea shop and picked up this tea. So glad I did it is delicious! It is Irish Breakfast Tea, White Chocolate Chips and Irish Cream and Brandy flavoring. The white chocolate makes it creamy. I love the Irish Cream and brandy flavor. I love it with stevia and creamer. I will have to try it iced too. Perfect for St Patrick’s Day or any day!
Flavors: Brandy, Irish Cream, White Chocolate
Backlog 2/3/22
Sticky Note-Notes: I made one initial cup, hot and without sweetener, and it was extremely tart with the hibiscus. I made a second cup this afternoon, stirred ½ tsp in, tossed it over ice, and it reminded me of orange juice with a slight tartness lingering on.

I’ve been a tea sipping machine today. We’re getting a bunch of freezing rain and snow today. I needed to make tea a priority, as to avoid spending time napping all day. I managed to get some reading in, so that’s a positive note.
Dry leaf: Rooibos, vanilla, pumpkin, and cinnamon.
Wet leaf: Vanilla wafer and pumpkin.
Flavor Profile: I made a dessert years ago for the class I was student teaching. Teachers and student teachers were required to bring something in for their class during Thanksgiving. I found a recipe with vanilla wafers, cool whip, canned pumpkin, all spice, and cinnamon. Pretty simple, and extremely delicious. Pumpkin Spice is that in a cup. No sugar necessary. It’s very sweet and dessert-y.
Flavors: Allspice, Cinnamon, Pumpkin, Vanilla

Sticky notes-notes: It was a fun day. I spent the morning shoveling the snow from the sidewalk and driveway. I measured 15 inches! It took me some effort to get it all done, but I was thrilled to stay out longer to play in the snow. My wife said I should make snow angels, so we could send the in-laws in NC some ‘real snow pictures.’ My poor dog thought I was in danger, at which point he ran off the porch to come to my rescue. Ha-ha. He realized that I was playing after I rolled him over into the pile of snow.
I needed to drink tea after a grand adventure outside. I sipped on a few other teas throughout the night, but I realized that I had a few more Tea Lab samples to go through. I blindly chose this one from the tiny pile. After smelling it, I thought that there was no way it’d taste like Eggnog. It had a subtle note of vanilla and rooibos; nothing too unique. However, when I steeped the blend, I could get vanilla-cream hitting me directly in the face. Sipping was a whole experience—I tasted hints of what I’d say were eggnog, with cinnamon. I added milk to the brew, however, it was much tastier without any.
Flavors: Creamy, Eggnog, Vanilla
