This tea is a really wonderful bed time drink. Brews to a light elixir that is sweet and fruity, not overly strong of chamomile like some restful teas I have had.
Overall, I’d say it is a very good tea. I make a pot of this when I have time before bed. Always enjoy it.
Preparation
A nice light refreshing Oolong with a nice lilac and jasmine flavor.
Full rounded body with lilac, fruit, and an almost jasmine touch.
Made this at work to try to keep calm and it really worked.
For some reason I can’t seem to make this tea strong enough for my taste. I usually have no issues with strength with a good Oolong, but this one always seems to brew too light for my taste.
Overall, very good, just a little light for me. But it is relaxing and not too heavy in caffeine.
Flavors: Caramel, Fruity, Jasmine, Peat

Backlog:
First Sniff – Nice elements of sweetness. A bit of a grain and grass, smells fresh and lovely.
First Sip – I ordered this one with honey at The Loose Teas and there was way too much honey for my taste, it was so sweet the tea was almost lost. This is a nice fresh grassy tea that is wonderful to sip on. Since I can’t judge this one based on what the tea would be like with the amount of honey I like in my tea I’m going to give it about a 78
Preparation
I received this tea as a wedding gift – I never buy these kinds of teas.
So, I’m sick, AGAIN. This time I lost my voice! I think California hates me. My first “winter” here I’ve been sick almost nonstop. All my years in Canada, I wasn’t sick much. Most of the times I was sick from a. food poisoning. b. grass allergies c. winter death cold the entire office catches and I’m usually the last person to catch it.
So, I’m drinking this tea. Echinacea. Aren’t I supposed to drink this before I get sick? I dunno. Sad, as I have lots more Lupicia Happy bag teas to try and a Butiki order! I’ve been chugging stuff with honey all day and I’m tired of all the calories. Tea time!
TASTE: I’m not sure what Echinacea tastes like. I’ve had them in pill form. Might of had it in other teas before as a side ingredient. This tea is all echinacea. Tastes woody and leafy – like it’s a windy Vancouver fall day and a juicy leaf flies into your mouth with a bit of thick stem on the end and you get all BLLAAGGGHHHHHHHHHH spitting it out, then your umbrella flips inside out. End of sip it goes watery. Little medicinal flavor, in a more natural herby way. It is very clean tasting and kinda juicy.
COMMENTS: So, this tea is just not me. Probably not gonna finish the pot and switch back to throat burning grapefruit juice of pain. I’m not gonna rate this tea even. But hey Steepster – now you know theres a straight up echinacea tea. Someone out there is bound to love this stuff! The Loose Teas – Cafe and Gifts does have an interesting line up.
Preparation
This is some of the best chai I have had yet, I am amazed how much I like it! Beats Starbucks chai any day. It is sweet, spicy, and has nice warm tone to it. I went to the Loose Teas yesterday and bought a couple of teas and a chai latte made with this tea… then returned today to buy a couple ounces of this tea as well as another latte, with the rewards points I have for buying so much tea from them.
Baseline:
Great chai, great price, I highly suggest you try this tea!
Preparation
I received this tea as a wedding gift. Interestingly, this company isn’t even on Steepster yet! Looks like a local tea company in my area.
So,I never buy these kinds of herbal teas – chamomile I drink only when I have a sick stomach, but otherwise I’m not into. But hey, it was a gift.
DRY: I smell licorice, I think. Oh man, I’m undecided about this.
STEEPED: Smells like mint, chamomile. Herbally!
TASTE: Chamomile mellow and light citrus bitterness and spice that also hits the throat with a zingy mint aftertastes that goes down the throat.
COMMENTS: Hmmmm. I like the minty throat zing – a great contrast to the slight bitterness. I’d drink this again, but not purchase as it’s not my kinda thing.
Annoyingly, I can’t find an ingredients list for this tea, never mind, it’s not on the page where you can purchase the tea, but on link before listing the teas.
Oh crap, this had white tea in it, I totally had it pegged for an herbal, I didn’t want any caffeine. Sigh.
