I received several 1oz. bags of teas from this tea company for Christmas last year, and have sipped my way through most of them. They were all decaf or herbal flavored teas, which I like to have in the evening during cold months. Not all of the flavors were what I would have chosen myself, and a few surprised me in a good way.

Made myself my first cuppa of this tea just now. It’s got a strong mint flavor with the inference of chocolate around the edges. It’s a bit like an after dinner mint. I don’t dislike it, but it wouldn’t be the first thing I reached for. The package suggested adding milk and sugar. I added a splash of milk, but not the sugar. I typically don’t sweeten my teas, particularly my evening teas.

I brewed this while I was making the batter for a honey cake this evening, and if there was a tea that tasted the way the honey, coffee, and vanilla mixture smelled like, I’d very much like to try it.

Sipdown. It’s a nice warm thing on this cold day. I’m enjoying a cuppa while I work on a cross-stitch project and listen to a feminist Star Trek podcast.

The citrus and chocolate flavors are there, but muted. It’s a smooth sip. I’ve enjoyed it, but. It so much that I would go back for another ounce.

Not a big fan, and probably won’t buy this again, but there’s a tangy taste in it, and I swear my nose is clearing up
