It’s been an up and down kind of day. I found out I didn’t get the consulting gig I wanted but in some ways, it’s just as well since I have a one month class coming up in the month of October and that sounds really intense to me. The job search is depressing, but I am doing what I can to pick up new skills and try to adapt.
Wow, it’s difficult to believe I am the first one to rate this particular blend here. I’ve always wanted to try something from this company since I have an affinity with Tibetan culture and it’s a non-profit, going to a good cause.
This tea is from the Himalayas but I’m not exactly sure where. It could be Jun Chiyabari, but it could be a darjeeling tea since the box says it’s from Northern India. Anyway for a teabag this is pretty good. It’s a darker green tea, flavorful and has a fairly nutty and robust flavor. The finish has a bite to it, and it also seems spicy to me. I like this better than the green darjeeling I got from Kusmi last week. I’m not a fan of paper teabags though, so I might just cut the bag open and try steeping it in an infuser next time. This is definitely a nice cuppa if you like a green tea that’s a bit bold.
I am really sorry about the job search but I am crossing my fingers for you that something even better will come up soon.
Thanks :)
