Ehm.. another tea from postcrossing.

Purity… okay. I assume it is indeed pure green tea.
“Purify yourself with this cup of simple goodness, created from carefully chosen natural green tea leaves that remove harmful free radicals and help your body regain its healthy balance”

Why worst teas have biggest “healthy” statements? Because if it tastes bad, but you see it’s heathy, you will buy it again?

Luckily I don’t have to.
This tea is not worth it, it is hay like tea with no fresh notes. And the hay… was somehow old as well. I don’t expect phenomenal tastes from tea bag. But it should be at least somehow present. In the morning very bad black tea, in the afternoon bad green tea.

If I don’t collect tea bags…

Flavors: Hay

Preparation
185 °F / 85 °C 3 min, 0 sec 10 OZ / 300 ML

Oh dear. Another exchanged tea bag in Prague. Apparently it should be for brewing as iced tea, but I brewed it conventional. Any information about this tea is so hard to find.

But I have found at least an image of the box. Inside foil wrapper there is a pyramid sachet. With dust of green tea and some white spots. Wonder what those are?

Found out. Maybe it is natural flavouring of mint (oh really?), why they did not used mint itself? Oh well. Or, steviol glycosides, which means it will be terrible sweet, moreover after stevia. I do not have problem with stevia, but it must be used reasonably.

Brews awful yellow-green colour, very cloudy and something is floating in. Pyramid sachet used just “because it’s modern” I think, because, as I said, it is tea dust there.

Aroma of cough syrup is not appealing. Artificial mint. When I took a gulp, I thought that I will throw it back. Bleeh. So artificial, so sweet. No, I can not even finish the cup. For a first time!

Flavors: Alcohol, Artificial, Medicinal, Mint, Sweet

Preparation
175 °F / 79 °C 4 min, 0 sec 10 OZ / 300 ML

It seems there is a another entry of this tea I have overlooked completely. The second one does not have any notes as well, so – I took that one I made myself. Hopefully it is correct too.

It is 5.30 am here. I go to Uni in two hours. I am awake so early because my brother needed a lift to train station, as he is going to Italy. So, I am kind of sleepy, so I need little bit caffeine boost and as it is only +7 °C outside, something warming up will be nice.

It is cloudy yellow-green liquor, with nice aroma of sweet cinnamon. Maybe bit of spiciness of cardamon is there too.

But when sipped! Okay, base tea is okay. I would prefer black base than green. It would be better. I need to get cardamon somewhere. It is nice and little spicy. Quite sweet, but could be much worse.

Flavors: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Grass Seed, Hay
