4grams for 8oz water. The leaves were long and had a nice fragrant but I couldn’t smell the jasmine. The liquor was light golden color and a light jasmine and a typical green tea scent. There was a faint earthy flavor and no after taste. The used leaves were a nice green color but didn’t expand. There were also a lot of stems .
Preparation
4tsp for 3 cups of water. You can smell the lychee in the leaves. The liquor is amber color and has a nice lychee scent. I like the lingering lychee flavor. This is my absolutely favorite tea. I drive an hour just to go to this tea shoppe to buy it. I’ve tried other tea shops so I didn’t have to drive so far but they just don’t compare. I drink a pot of this tea morning.
Preparation
1 tsp for 8oz. Small twisted white leaves with a nice sweet fruity scent. The liquid is very light and golden. It has no fruity scent. The scent was actually unpleasant like canned peas. It was not flavorful and not worth drinking. Even my daughter had the same reaction and she wasn’t even around when I drank it.
Preparation
4 tsp for 3 cups of water. Long strip style leaves with a fruity scent. Liquid is a light amber color with a typical green tea scent. The liquid doesn’t smell fruity at all. There is a slight lingering flavor with a soft nice finish.
Preparation
I love “Starbucks” Chai Latte and I have been looking for a Chai I could make myself and have it be somewhat similar to Starbucks.
I was recommended this Chai because it was their spiciest they had. I added a couple of tbls of sugar and then some creamer. It’s nothing like Starbucks and more like the Oregon Chai Tea, which I don’t like.
The tea is ok. I don’t think it is spicy at all. Maybe I put too much sugar. Since I have a little left I will try it again with no creamer and little sugar. This is not a tea that I would buy again.
