Gongfu!

This was the other tea I ended up steeping up with Marika about a week ago. Personally, I probably would have brewed this a little bit stronger but it was still an absolutely incredible tea. Very, very smooth with such a rich camphor note and all of those incredible scotch-like elements like peat moss, an oak like woodiness, a hint of bourbon vanilla, and just a little smoke.

It’s very much more a type of pu’erh up my alley and not Marika’s, so she was super kind and gifted me the remainder of the broken up cake from her stash since I’m a lot more likely to drink it than she would have been.
