I had somehow upset stomach, really bad feeling (it included more than just being sick)…
I don’t know, if the beer yesterday was bad (I feel like one wasn’t really fresh); if combination of beers and rum (mexican) made that mess? No, I don’t really think so. Kebab wasn’t to shame as well, it worked rather well as it something warm.

Maybe just nerves, because new semester just started. Maybe combination of lots of together. Maybe tiredness as well.

Anyway, I know that black tea works best when feeling like that. And with lemon, it sounds quite good. And it was so lemony… that it doesn’t want to brew at all. It was quite light base tea with hints of lemon. I know I said it was so lemony, I was exaggerating a bit. I blame lots of lemon in for not brewing much. As citric acid slows steeping.

The tea itself was…
Base was prominent, but nothing really strong. Lemon wasn’t much present, it made it bit pleasantly sour. But that was only note of lemons there, no juicyness, no lemon peels. Well, I have expected more.

Finally I found some information about this tea brand. So sooner or later I will update last two teas I had with ingredients and so on.

Today will be probably a tea-day, as I will spend whole day in front of laptop doing some school stuff, but of course I need something to relax, so drink a tea – writing tasting note sounds as good idea. Why I have picked this tea in particular? Not even I knows why. I just picked any.

After I opened the foil, paper sachet – cough, ginger hit my nose. It is really strong in ginger. I hope it turns down a bit in brew.

Steeped for 3 minutes (approximately), aroma is… almost none. Same with taste, yeah, it is bit of green tea there. Bit of ginger and bit of lemongrass. Lemongrass probably most present there. When it cools, more lemon zest appears.

Well, in conclusion, it is okay tea with warming ability – as there is ginger. As for tea – it is basic tea bag quality.

Yep another mysterious tea. Brand and name and picture on the tea bag showing licorice, cinnamon and mint. By aroma of brewed tea really reminds those three herbs. It is mint + cinnamon mostly, but I think the licorice will make it sweet, as those two are rather rough on tongue. Why I brewed tea that late (it is almost 9 pm)? Well, I have to finish some work to school and boy, I really hate it.

The tea is indeed very sweet after licorice. Mint is bit mellowing the agressivity of it, so maybe even bit refreshing + cinnamon is not noticable in taste at all :/

Getting some information about this tea is hard. As I know, it is this brand, in my collection from Netherlands (because I swapped it with Dutch collector). But I was searching, but I was not successful. So, I do not even know if there is a green tea in, or jasmine, or orange. Who knows?

Anyway, tea itself was pretty nice. Green tea base was nice, with strong jasmine notes in aroma as well in taste. The taste turned out bit sweet, I guess the orange notes. I wonder if they used some natural flavourings or there was real jasmine pieces and/or orange ones.

I thought that orange and jasmine would not work well together. Both aromas/tastes are completely different. Oranges I recall somehow very fruity and jasmine floral. Yep it is like that, but together it works! Have you guys some experience of real tasty tea of those two? Or should I buy a jasmine petals, orange peels/pieces and green tea and mix it myself?
