Working on sipping through a tin. It’s actually quite good! 1 minute steep time, 1 sugar cube. Pretty tasty vanilla flavor.
You must have an old stash of sugar cubes. I can’t find them in stores anywhere since the pandemic. It took out the most random items!
Dustin: Have you ever made sugar cubes? It is sooo easy and fun! I had a silicone mold for little roses and made rose shaped sugar “cubes.” They are for fancy tea parties with little kids that I teach!
I have not tried that! With all the things I do make I’m kinda surprised it hasn’t really occurred to me to try to make my own sugar cubes!
Bought as an impulse souvenir on a recent visit to the South Pacific, with relatively low hopes for it. It’s hard to say how long it’s been sitting in the curio shop but a 2019 best by date was convincing enough. Easy steep, decent sachet quality (though at least one of the 24 had come loose). Pretty subtle flavor.
Unfortunately the French ingredient list only provides “thé asiatique,” so I’ve no idea if this is herbal or black tea. Similarly no caffeine level is obvious, although the package does suggest a cup before bedtime.
