Hmmmmm…an interesting concoction to be sure. What words can I summon to describe this sensational experience? Well, first there is the minty breeze flowing down and coating the back of my throat accompanied with rich, warm undertones of stimulating green sencha. But what is that organically invigorating, dare I say “fresh” energy bubbling through my system and bursting onto this review in lyrical adjectives? Why it must be the nettle and alfalfa, a steeped feast high in protein, calcium, plus other minerals, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin K! I must admit by taste alone, this is not my favorite MoonDream blend, but the nutritional benefits certainly make it worth trying for yourself.
Stay awake, work faster, think clearer, and be healthy—now this is what I call proactive herbal chemistry! Tasty too! If you’re a night owl like myself or really need that extra kick in the morning or later in the evening after a long day, then I couldn’t imagine why you wouldn’t want to go order yourself some of this delightful stuff right now without further delay.
I mean it…seriously…why are you still reading this?
Preparation
I must say this is quite possibly the most soothing and filling black tea blend I’ve ever tasted—bold with a subtle bite yet silky smooth and meditative. It also seems to possess a certain “enduring spirit” seeing as how I’m already through with my second infusion and onto my third without any dramatic difference in color or strength! The only reason I drop it 4 points is that the sample bag I got was very finely ground, requiring a cloth or paper filter. But hey, problem easily solved and I’ll sacrifice substance for sustenance any day of the week (or middle of the night as it would be). I highly recommend this tea to one and all!
Update: It has been confirmed that this blend is actually supposed to come with a cloth bag filter for the very reason noted above. Mr. Phil, MoonDreamTea propietor and tea-lover extraordinaire, just forgot to throw it into the care package he sent me.
Preparation
I love this stuff when I’m not feeling well. It has a sharp-ish taste from the licorice, but I really like it. A warning though, it’s a very strong flavor, so some of my friends use less than a teaspoon for eight ounces of water.
I like the stuff though, makes me feel better, so I’ll take the teaspoon..and maybe more.
