This stuff tasted really weird to me at first, but has definitely grown on me. It’s sweet, but it’s also kind of, well, I don’t know. Metallic-tasting? It’s flowery but there is something else going on there. Anyway, I was really congested last night (air conditioning does terrible things) so made some of this. I was surprised that I actually really enjoyed it and it actually helped alleviate the congestion!
Such a lovely Silver Needles. This is subtle but very fresh and crisp-tasting. A little earthy but it also has a nice, delicate sweetness to it. I haven’t found a stand-by white tea yet, but I am quite enjoying this sample and might have to pick some up to fill that gap! This has been great through two infusions and I’m going to steep it again in a little bit.
This stuff is seriously good. It’s Kizmi Tea’s bestseller for good reason. It smells and tastes like the ginger snaps my grandmother used to feed me.
I don’t like ginger teas, and I’ve never found a strongly cinnamon tea I like. I want to like both for the health benefits but can’t seem to. Ginger and cinnamon are what this tisane is made of but I think the rice balances it out and gives it that cookie quality. It’s candied ginger which is cheating, but as an indulgence that is more than okay.
This tea was featured in the tea tasting I did with Kizmi today, and it was a stand-out. I had to buy a tin!
