Rooibos definitely in the front, but berries compliment in it very nicely, they stay in the back, do not dominate, contribute to the overall impression.
Slightly sweet, slightly sour taste.
Nice warming tea, craftily connecting rooibos with unusual additives.
Flavors: Berries, Blackberry, Raspberry, Sour, Sweet
Preparation
Really nice colour with the reddish hue.
And very refreshing aroma with pomegranate and lime in equal amounts plus a bit of yerba mate in the background.
Flavour is fruity, a bit sour, not sweet.
Tasty mate-based tea, really refreshing and invigorating. Not exactly my style, but I can appreciate it.
Flavors: Citrus, Lime
Preparation
Not very strong aroma. A bit herbal, a bit citrusy, with tangerine peel in the background. The bouquet is not very expressive, but it is soothing and relaxing in a way.
And the flavour is way better. Citrusy, slightly sweet, with the tangerine peel tang.
I’m not a big fan of lemon balm, but here it fits.
Flavors: Citrus, Citrus Zest, Lemon, Tangy
Preparation
Strong fruity aroma from mulberry, sweetish, a bit perfume-y.
Fruity, rich, warming flavour, a bit natural, a bit artificial.
Nice tea. One of the few I encountered that contains white mulberry, a fruit I really enjoy both in raw and dried version.
Flavors: Fruity, Sweat
Preparation
Really refreshing citrus aroma with fruity/floral notes in the background.
Slightly sweet, citrusy flavour with apple, rosehips, chokeberries and the base pu-erh tea in the back.
Warming, passable.
Flavors: Apple, Citrusy, Floral, Fruity, Rosehips, Sweet
Preparation
The aroma is subtle, mostly with pineapple plus a bit of apple and base green tea in the background. Seems a bit too perfume-y.
Fruity, refreshing, not too sweet flavour. The pineapple is in the foreground. The whole composition is decent and warming, but the tea itself is very weak.
Flavors: Apple, Grass, Pineapple, Sweet
Preparation
I think I had this tea, though not from Detox series. Interesting blend nevertheless, but not a tea I would crave for again.
Wonderful, fruity smell, but mainly from apples, which are not mentioned on the box. Gooseberry is always hard to sense and the pomegranate is added not as a juice or aroma, but only as a peel, so the tea’s name is very misleading.
The taste is also mainly apple, with some sour-ish notes from gooseberry and rosehip and leafy aromas from blackberry leaves.
Actually it’s not bad, but I can’t give this tea a good grade, because it’s bases on a lie. It’s not pomegranate and gooseberry, but rather apple and rosehip with really small additions of other things. Shame on you, Irving!
