My birthday was in March, but because I was there in person my dad wanted to take me out to “celebrate it” while I was visiting. A few months late, but still a nice gesture. We went to a vegan diner than opened up while I was living in Montreal, so it was my first time going. The food was actually very good! Their summer iced drink special was a Raspberry Matched oat milk latte, so I ordered that. As a matcha oat milk latte, it was very delicious. Creamy and vegetal with just the right balance – though I did find the oat milk they were using left a bit of a pasty film on my tongue after swallowing. The raspberry part was kind of a let down as it was barely noticeable, but I suppose there was some fruitiness. Honestly, might as well have just been plain matcha though.
