Last tasting note/RTD from my LA trip!

I was really excited to see this company at Erewhon when we visited. They’ve gotten a lot of buzz recently in the RTD space both because Brad Pitt is one of the company founders but also because the flavour development was done by several James Beard chefs.

All of their teas are cold brewed with the additions of real fruits/plants – no flavourings. What impressed me the most about this one was that yes it had the most pleasant fresh raspberry puree taste and crisp, cooling mint finish but more importantly neither of those flavours masked the very, very beautiful and authentic tasting notes of the White Peony. Fresh cucumber pulp, timothy hay, clotted cream. Everything that I would expect a Bai Mu Dan to taste like came through beautifully in this tea and it truly felt like the raspberry and mint were just their to accent the white tea – which was the star of the show. Sometimes tea bases in drinks like this can feel like an afterthought, but I felt like I could really taste the care and intention in this drink.

It was definitely my favourite tea related RTD of the whole trip!
