A sipdown! (M: 10, Y: 10)
Somehow I had two tea bags buried somewhere and when moving to new, wooden boxes system, I found them. Well, apparently I haven’t been much impressed 2 and half years ago; and nor I am today. I prepared it as a family pot tea — my family members were to the concert in church, so they were feeling cold.

Well, sadly it seems it has got lost even a bit of the lemon flavour it has got and it was mellow and slightly citrusy tea… but again, no ginger here.

But a sipdown is a sipdown.

So, last flavour from this company I got lucky to try.

Probably the best one.

Nice black tea base, quite malty and lemon flavour is light but noticeable. It was nicely citrusy, I would enjoy some more depth of it though. I wasn’t able to notice any ginger though, which is sad.

Pretty much basic, but well blended. Don’t call it with ginger and I would buy it for daily drinking tea.

Oh yeah, almost forgot! I got my second vaccine yesterday. Today I feel that my arm and whole body is a bit sore, sometimes some shivering happens. I am more tired as well. But that’s all okay!

It’s great to hear you got your second dose!

Weekend was hard, but luckily the Olympics were my companion and today I feel like nothing happened. If only I weren’t going to the dentist today and now for a change my mouth is a bit sore.

Yay for the vaccine! Wish more people here would get it.

drank Mango Delight by Eminent

Writing helps me thinking about anything else. So again a note from me here.

Last flavour I have received, and honestly I was quite not impressed as ingredients is what I put into the tea page; so “only flavor” and we know how not great was their berry flavour.

But their Mango flavour was better. Not by a lot, but at least a wee bit.

It was juicy mango, quite sweet, but not complex as actual fruit. The base wasn’t overpowering the flavour, and it was that typical Ceylon bagged tea flavour, so no malt, no bitterness, but enjoyable and present.

That said, this brand isn’t Premium Quality Ceylon Tea for me. I would not call it as well Artisan Ceylon Tea as another their statement. At least the wrappers are looking good. Tea itself isn’t that great.

drank Berry Fusion by Eminent

Another free tea bag included and again… a dismal.

First of fall, seeing ingredients where is Ceylon tea and “Berry flavor” — that should warn me before drinking.

It was even worse than Chai as it was indeed a pure black tea and there wasn’t anything that contrubutes in any way to flavour. The flavour was faded and flat. It wasn’t tasting artificial, but generic berry like.

Base tea? Well, it was that typical Ceylon flavour I have met so many times…nothing to write about. Very poor tea.

drank Chai by Eminent

This tea is one of the free ones I have received.

Bagged, and smells amazing! Cardamom and cloves, spices well received in chai for me.

But something went wrong after 3-4 minutes steeping. It turned out very dark and tea base flavour profile was overpowering the spices and spices were there, but not very prominent at all. I could notice maybe only that cardamom, and some cinnamon sweetness, but overall, quite bland. The base tea was okay, but as well nothing “wow” — at least it wasn’t a bitter cup.

It was just too weak to call it chai to me, and I am not a person who likes spicy things. It was bland as I wrote.
