Um… yeah. Uh? Basically a mash-up of RC and EG, which is weird.
Not awful. Just weird.
Don’t give this to your grandma.
My brain is confused by this combination. I’m not seeing how it would come together coherently at all! It sounds weird indeed.
Another one from the Monstrositea September box. I love Russian Caravan so I knew this would have to be AWFUL for me to dislike it, so yes it was tasty but it didn’t blow me away. I’ve had more delicious RCs recently.
What I did get outta this was the fun adventure of finally drinking RC with a sugar cube between my teeth! It’s a bit like a timtam slam in that the first sip or two is great but then you gotta move quickly or it’s going to explode in your mouth. Sugar crystals for all. I tried with both a brown cube and a white cube and the brown one was infinitely better… so I drank a few more.
This was my Spring Cleaning tea today, I did a big blitz (and drank about a litre of it) before welcoming the two cutest elderly English cousins staying in my guest room. Thanks Airbnb! Can I adopt these ones?
I ignored the recommendations on the Mr. Earl sachet that said not to have this with milk, because I really felt like chai this afternoon but I didn’t have any. So I treated this like chai.
It turned out excellently, duh.
Proper on the stove chai preparation and sweetened with some honey, and this has hit the spot perfectly.
Why the heck would they say milk isn’t recommended!?
Anyway, sipdown. Wouldn’t restock, because I’m not crazy for rooibos and chai itself is better. Though maybe this would be great to have around as a caffeine-free chai alternative…
