This is pretty much the same blend as Upton’s Mélange Nöel (minus a spice or two), but sadly it’s nowhere near as good. The tea in general is a little watery, and most of what I taste is orange, cinnamon, and rose. The almond isn’t noticeable, and neither is the tea! It tastes more like an herbal blend. If this were more intense I’d like it much better—maybe I should try extra tea in my next cup.

MissB shared this one with me. It feels a bit weird to have a Christmas themed tea at the end of May, but I have a box to empty and I can’t just have it lie around until December. Normally Christmas blends don’t really appeal to me much. They’re usually far too cinnamon-y and I don’t really care for cinnamon in my tea to be honest. I find the combination of tea and cinnamon a little strange, which is also why I’m having such trouble with chais. I find that the typical Christmas blend is usually in that same sort of category as chai.

I’m not certain what’s Christmas-y about this. It doesn’t really taste like Christmas to me. It’s an orange tea with some sort of spice in it that makes it quite sweet, but I can’t really recognise it as any particular spice.

It’s pleasant enough to drink but not something that has me falling over with glee.

Definitely fruity and punch like, with an emphasis on the orange element. The cinnamon adds a really warming spiced note, as well. I really think there’s a definite amount of nuttiness too.

Like has been pointed out, sweetener perks it up a bit and makes it fruitier. It definitely has a winter-y feel, and with the sweet and spicy ingredients, it definite captures a bit of Christmas in there as well. (I’m just a couple months late).

another one from missb that smelled seriously delicious! That being said, after a 5 minute steep, i expected the flavours to pop more. It’s a decent cup, but the dry aroma held so much more promise. Not a bad little tea and as others have mentioned with a little sweetner, the flavours DO pop a little more. Thanks for the new tea missb!

Thank you MissB for this sample. My card arrived today, thank you very much for everything.

The blend smells sweetly orange but with a touch of spice, cinnamon perhaps. Christmas like all in all and nicely potent, all good so far.

Rose petals, cinnamon and orange are all noticeable in this blend. It’s a nice combination of sweet and spicy ingredients that really do have a Christmassy feeling about them. The cinnamon is the strongest ingredient but they quickly blend into each other so while it may be the strongest it doesn’t stay that way for long.

I like this, it may not be super special but it is pleasant. Thank you for sharing this.

Cutest package! Santa’s lying on his back with an angel worriedly looking over him. The package tells a story along the lines of, “Santa drank this tea and it punched him in the face it was so good. He fell over, and drank it until he sunk into the snow, until next Christmas.”

This isn’t a bad tea, however it leaves a bit to be desired in the tangerine flavoring aspect – unless it’s sweetened. After Truvia, it perked right up and becomes juicy and delicious. I can see why it’s called Christmas Punch (it tastes a bit like punch), with some added flavoring that definitely reminds me of the holidays (almond, mostly). The rose is lost in here, and that’s just fine with me.

I did steep this at the lower level of the steeping range; I’ll do it longer next time, just in case I’m missing something.
