so i don’t mind hibiscus…but in this tea, it for sure contributes to a really sour brew, blueberry but sour blueberries. Initially a really great smelling blueberry tea but in this particular instance, i’d recommend less Hibby, though i generallly don’t mind it the way some folks do. I finished off the last cup of this one as well from the box. yay for single servings. heh
The dry leaves smell of yogurt covered blueberries. I’m not sure if this is a good smell or not. I picked a fruit tisane because I wanted something a little more flavorful but without the caffeine. The flavor is very sour. This brew tastes like under ripened blueberries. In contrast, it has a very sweet aroma. I did not enjoy this, but I believe during spring if this was cold brewed it would be wonderful.

Hidden Gems TTB #2
The evil hibiscus strikes again! This tea smells like blueberry muffin and has a nice blueberry flavor in the beginning of the sip. But towards the end, the hibiscus takes over completely and you are left with mouth-puckering tart aftertaste. Still glad for the opportunity to try a new tea company, though!

Day off today, this means more cleaning including organizing and drinking up some of my tea! I still think this is just a decent green tea. When I purchased it, I was really looking forward to the pineapple of it. If I am looking for a green the next time I’m at market I will probably try a different blend of theirs instead of grabbing this one again.

I’m having this hot now. I’m also waiting for some to cool to put in the fridge for later. I am trying many of my teas cold recently as summer is definitely upon us. I don’t know how a green tea will be sitting in the fridge as I know greens can get bitter if over steeped. Guess we’ll find out later today, ha.
This smells slightly of pineapple, you can definitely tell it’s a green. Upon first sip, yuck :( Adding splenda makes it better. I do not taste the pineapple though :( :(
