lovely tea from raritea brewed up a cup tonight to try it out so i could pass the rest of the sample on to the next person. My only complaint about this one? not enough orange! haha this for me was largely a pistachio sort of rooibos blend. However, it was delicious, so i can’t fault it for that. I just can’t get enough of orange in my teas (though i don’t like blergamot! ‘cause that’s citruslike bleh) thanks for sharing Raritea!

Longer infusion time did not increase the chocolate flavour in the tea. Probably advisable to infuse 1.5 tbsp for 375 ml.
Very little flavour with these parameters.

Very faint creamy dark chocolate flavour – tastes a bit woodsy. I enjoy the smooth black tea that is the base for this tea- no astringency.

Thin tasting with a sweet finish. There is a hint of grapefruit flavour that I normally find with oolongs. The bulk of the creaminess is in the aftertaste but I’m noticing the aftertaste to be a bit sour. I may consider infusing this tea for longer in the future to see if I can get a more bold flavour. The scent of the dry leaf is certainly the full sweet pudding aroma I normally expect with a milk oolong.

I’m on my second pot of this tea today. What I love about this tea is that it is very hard to over brew it. You can be completely distracted and come back after ten minutes of steeping (my book is very interesting) and this oolong isn’t bitter.

Wish I still had some of the orange blossom oolong left. I’m drinking a really bad Ceylon at the moment.

One of my absolute favorite teas. Wonderful aroma, and just a hint of natural sweetness (my guess is that the sweetness comes from the blossoms) it needs nothing, its fantastic as is.

This Yunnan tea is a good example of what to expect from a nice black cuppa. Not too over powering, and I would not suggest adding milk or sugar. Offers a delicious caramel with barnyard aromas. By barnyard I mean think of freshly brushed clean horse. (I don’t know how to describe it otherwise!)

I was really looking forward to this, because everything I’ve had from Anteaques in the past has been amazing. Unfortunately, however, this Yunnan tasted of almost nothing. It was like drinking hot water, except for the progressively drying effect on my tongue.

Orange blossom oolong is one of my favourite teas. What I particularly enjoy in this blend is that I can taste the oolong! Its got a nice nutty taste to it that is complimented by the orange blossom petals floating in the tea pot.
