Delicious! This has been my standard, every day green tea for the past two years. I bought it from a local market on a whim and love how grassy and fresh it tastes. And for $5, it’s well worth it, especially considering I’ve paid a great deal more for smaller amounts of horrible tasting green teas.

I got this from MissB a couple weeks ago when she was selling off some mystery packs! A decent ceylon :) I can’t say it’s my favourite, but I definitely don’t hate it. I prefer straight greens or flavored blacks, but this is good! A nice mellow tea to drink when all I’ve been doing all day was… watching Netflix ahha
Ridiculously cheap tea at the Middle Eastern grocer- I got 400 g for $7
Cardamom blends well with the tea flavor, no hints of bitterness. Tasted just as great on a second steep as well, the cardamom was a little stronger actually.
Smooth, drinkable, a great everyday tea.
i realized the other day that I had all the spices to make my own Chai tea, so I’ve been using this tea to that end. My best blend so far is orange peel, star anise, cinnamon, all spice, ginger, black pepper and a little extra cardamom. I know all spice isn’t a traditional ingredient but I don’t have cloves and it seemed to work fine. The orange peel is a very nice extra touch.
Rating this tea extra high because it’s such an insanely good value if you can find the giant box of it at the Middle Eastern grocer (they also usually have giant tubs of Ahmad Earl Grey too! It’s a favorite of me ma’s)
Preparation
Nice full leaf green tea. Was pleasantly surprised when I picked a canister of this up at the local middle-eastern grocery on a whim. The leaves almost bloom when brewing, and it makes a nice smooth green tea. The leaves are large enough in dried form that they don’t fall through the holes in any of my infusers, and the canister seals back up nicely after use. My only negative reaction to this tea was that when I tried to use it to make some green-tea iced tea, it did not brew up as clear as I had hoped. It had a bit of a cloudiness to it. But that did not take away from the flavor, which was very nice. I am normally not much of a green tea drinker, but I could definitely drink this again, and will.
