467 Tasting Notes
I’m not sure what I was expecting but this wasn’t really what I wanted right now. The flavor seemed odd with a bad aftertaste on the roof of my mouth.
I think I’ll try making it with some almond milk in a saucepan tomorrow. Maybe the flavor will blend for me with milk.
This is certainly a strongly scented tea. To me, it is very perfume-y rather than rum raisin. I don’t love it but it is quite drinkable. Probably wouldn’t buy it because of the strong scent.
Pass the Stash TTB
I’ve been bad about giving credit to the several TTBs I’ve had this past two weeks. Sorry! It’s about all I can do is to get some of the tasting notes in on the teas.
The huckleberry is not as strong as it could have been. The black goes well with the huckleberry. I sweetened it a little and I’m enjoying it. I wouldn’t be in my top teas but certainly will enjoy another cup of. I might keep this one from the Pass the Stash box. I think it might be good cold brewed with a twist of lemon.
It’s a lovely summer day and I’m enjoying this as a hot tea. I have to say my decision to drink more hot tea this summer is going well. I don’t find myself over heated or anything. :-)
Flavors: Huckleberry

Nice bright lemon flavor. Not a sour lemon. I taste the lemon myrtle most. I love, love, love lemon myrtle. Ever since we went to Australia I have had an obsession with lemon myrtle! Not sure if i taste the chiffon/pastry but it really doesn’t matter to me. :-)
Flavors: Lemon, Vanilla

I was afraid of this tea because of the name, I mean really Frankenberry? I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. It does seem to taste like a lot of other berry teas I’ve had lately. That’s not a bad thing.
My kids didn’t mind Frankenberry but I was a little old even then. (They are in their 30’s) To me, it’s just the idea of drinking an overly sweet cereal. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, I have tried Fruity Pebbles and Froot Hoops tea. :-)
I haven’t had this in a while because of the calories. Today I just need something somewhat indulgent or I’m going to get something REALLY indulgent. I made it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I made it cold and poured it over ice. Quite yummy!
I’m still working my way through the TTBs. It is so overwhelming(!) but fun! :-)
I’m helping a friend get her classroom set up for school. I forgot how much work it is for a first grade classroom. One of the problems is that it is actually a first/ second split, so it has all the first grade and all the second grade materials were thrown together. Now the principal is saying they might move her to another room. She starts school on Monday and the principal still can’t decide whether to move her! We may have a busy couple of days!
Oh, gosh….. setting up the entire classroom is enough work in itself let alone having to move! Hopefully all goes well and school starts smoothly for her:]
Nice blueberry scent and a bit of cream cheesiness. I taste a slight bit of pastry. Very lovely morning tea when all I can dream of was pastry, donuts, cinnamon rolls….. Now I have to go grocery shopping and avoid the real thing.
Flavors: Blueberry, Creamy, Pastries
Preparation
I have not had a lot of pu erhs before but this certainly would be at the top of the list. The vanilla and caramel are wonderful together. Very smooth and moth filling. Can tea be round? That is how it tastes to me. Fills up all the corners of my mouth. Yum!
Flavors: Caramel, Vanilla
Preparation
I was intrigued when I got the tea from the Tea and Card TTB because it was wrapped in four layers of bags and wraps. :) I was saddened when I read the reviews.:( I sniffed… good raspberry scent. Brewed nice aroma. Added my favorite vanilla stevia and I have a lovely cup of tea. The raspberry is good if perhaps a bit artificial. But not too artificial tasting. Refreshing. No aftertaste. It sat for a while while I went for a walk and the taste is still acceptable for me.
