I tried following the instructions for this team and it turned out both uot and iced a bitter mess. After lowering heat and steep time it was not bitter but so weak. My third attempt at somewhere in the middle yielded what I think what it’s supposed to taste like but I can hardly get any mango or pineapple. This tea is just too high maintenance to get right and not even that great of a team. waste of a 20 g bag
I got really into loose leaf tea last year after I couldn’t get my hands on this anymore and never was able to try it. I hate pumpkin pie, I don’t really eat pumpkin in any other forms but I LOVE this. I had it as a latte and OHHMAGOSHHHHH this was amazeballssssss. I agree with someone before me who said this is like fall in a cup. It’s a cozy snuggly tea perfect on its own and/or with milk and sugar. When my little 25 g is done I will be buying them out at the end of fall.
Very skeptical of this tea iced at first. I’ve had it hot before and it basically tasted like hot strawberry yogurt. Now iced this is a totally different story, tart yet still sweet. And surprisingly I think one of my favourite iced teas. I was in denial saying ehh it’s an ok tea, but the fact that I kept steeping it made me realize: “Okay so maybe I like this more than I originally thought.” Will repurchase :)
Not a bad tea. I originally got this on impulse and I regretted it because I realized it just smelled like bubblegum and wasn’t looking forward to trying it. I put it off until last week when I made an iced jug of my 15 grams and I actually enjoyed it. When iced it doesn’t smell quite like bubblegum and I could enjoy it. I think this is one of those ones I will repurchase when I’m feeling the need for it but not necessarily rush out to get and not in a huge volume.
Stupid steepster making me write this tasting note again ahhhhh, oh well.
My boyfriend has this addiction to Starbucks’ passion tea lemonade which I like, not love due to it’s tartness. I know Starbucks has the plain passion fruit tea but it tastes too artificial compared to this. It cost me about 3.50 or 4 dollars for about 3-4 cups worth of this tea which in comparison to Starbucks is a steal, but it is pretty damn pricey for a loose leaf DavidsTea especially since this is just dried fruit. For example, I had a 50g tin of my dragonwell green tea which costs 10 dollars for 50 grams and I believe I’ve taken about 15 generous cups of it and I still have enough for maybe about 3 to 4 more, let’s round to say 20 cups all in all. So this is about double the cost. Wahhh. Just realizing why getting all these herbals are getting me broke haha. Still a great alternative to the Starbucks and will repurchase :)
My boyfriend has an addiction to Starbucks’ passion tea lemonade, that crazy stuff costs 4 dollars for a grande, YOU JOKING ME and he voluntarily does this over and over again. I love that this is so similar and as well is less tart which I really didn’t like with the passion tea lemonade, I know starbucks has just the passionfruit tea but it tasted way too artificial for me. Out of 10 I would make this a 9.5 just because I’m not OMG I LOVE IT….but it is an amazing tea :)
